Company director John Andrews has had over 40 years experience of involvement in the shooting and fishing scene in Scotland. His knowledge of the country sport scene in Scotland is intimate and encyclopaedic.
In addition to practical hands-on management of salmon fishing, shoots and stillwater fisheries, John was formerly Fieldsports Correspondent for " Scottish Field " magazine, contributed widely to the sporting press and is the author of a comprehensive guide to shooting in Scotland entitled " The Best Shooting in Scotland". His own production company - Silverstream Films & TV Productions" has produced several very popular shooting and fishing programmes, which have been broadcast on UK television and which have gone on general release in video form.
A familiar figure on the TV screen in fieldsports and countryside matters, he is deeply concerned and involved in their future development and wellbeing. He wrote and presented "Flyfishing for Salmon" and "The Gamefisher's Year", two of the most popular gamefishing programmes in Britain. His latest release "A Fisher For All Seasons" was written, directed and presented by himself and is widely acclaimed as one of the best angling films ever made. John continues to be deeply and practically involved in wildlife and countryside conservation.
