Salmon and Trout Week Currently a few spaces are available in a convivial house party based in a very comfortable traditional highland lodge on a private sporting estate in the South of Caithness. The week is the 6th to 13th July 2008. Guests have prime-time fishing over the full 7 mile length of the estate's private salmon river plus access to the superb private wild brown trout lochs on the estate. A boat is available all week for guests on the fabulous Loch Watten and a private launch is moored in the nearby harbour to access the prolific sea angling. This is a tremendous fun week - very informal pleasant atmosphere, wives/partners are very welcome with lots to do and see for non-fishers- the food is brilliant! This sport is very reliable as the bag limit and shooting time is very strictly controlled and carefully managed.
